after troy

high school teachers be warned. if you test on The Odyssey, be prepared for this answer: "Well, it was Legolas and The Incredible Hulk vs. Jennifer Aniston's husband. And I'm not sure why there was a Trojan horse, since it was in Troy, not Troj."

to the lady next to me in the theatre, i'm pretty sure everyone noticed the foreshadowing when the man next to Odysseus was carving a wooden horse for his boy back home, so, in retrospect, you probably didn't need to yell out, "Ooh, I bet they're gonna make a horse!!!"

I told someone that I had gone to see Troy and her response was, "Oh, was that, like, that medieval movie?"
I just said yes and let it go.

I figured if someone can have the insight to make a masterpiece such as Air Force One, he can surely tackle classical Greek literature.

I remember walking out of a cinema having accidentally seen Pearl Harbour and having my friend turn and ask me if it was based on a true story. He claims now he meant the sub-'plot'...

christin-

I feel a mitch hedberg quote is in order:

My friend said to me "Man, this weather is trippy." I said to him, "No man, perhaps it is not the weather that is trippy, it is the way we perceive it that is indeed trippy..." then I thought, man, I should have just said, 'yeah...'

I find that there is a Mitch Hedburg quote that is appropriate for almost every situation. I love that guy.

I had a teacher who wrote on his board "Two Towers in theaters -insert date-" and this girl said "Wow they already made a movie about the 911 attacks..."
