zips=art

When I found out that my dear friend Tirzah was pregnant (by way of my friend, and her husband, Bo), I went and bought the first thing I could think of for their child: some vintage Zips (I looked for 10 minutes and couldn't find a photo on the internet--for shame). They're royal blue, still new in the package. Friggin' genius. I'm patiently waiting for Jackson (their child) to grow into them. I have no doubt they'll make him run faster. Tirzah's been chronicling Jackson's growth through photos on one of her blogs.

Like many mothers of nappy (in the sleeping, not hair, sense) children, Tirzah has an extra minute or two during naptime, and, being an artist, she's using that time to get awesome. And she's inviting others to collaborate over at her other blog. I know she'd love to hear from you.

Thanks Higgie I feel honored to be shared. I am so excited with the new one. I was so frantic yesterday to post the paintings it took 5 hours to get it all done in the middle of playing naps and food. Jane the inspiration for the colors in the February is baby food.
