Off to St. Louis in a few hours for the wedding of one of my best friends, Paul, roommate for my favorite two years, the most lavishly generous person I know, and, most importantly, inspiration for the foreskin essay.
I'll be chronicling the trip in the form of a present-tense essay unfolding and segmented by photographs I take at each step (I have a piece due for workshop Tuesday night, so two birds seems in order). Will be back early next week.
Eat more watermelon.

Have fun while you're here. We'll be gone during the time you're here, but I'm sure we can catch up some other time. Look forward to some good wedding photos! Those are usually in short supply.
